Which Application Do I Use?
Permit Requirements
Anyone who wants to host an assembly, demonstration, display, festival, parade, or rally that will be held on Arizona State property managed by the Arizona Department of Administration General Services Division (ADOA-GSD), must file a Solicitation and Special Events Permit Application with the Office of Special Events. To find out more about Special Events or Solicitations, read the Special Event Handbook or view the FAQs. Contact the Special Events Coordinator if you have any questions.

Expedited Application for Special Events or Solicitations:
Your permit application may be expedited if your event does not require equipment setup AND if there are no sales or solicitation of any kind such as food, products or services at your event.
The expedited application is also available for small press conferences or Free Speech Events.
A Free Speech Event is one that is a solely expressive activity, such as march, rally, demonstration, or other activity which does not include non-expressive or commercial activity such as commercial food, sales AND equipment set up on State property.
